Amazon is modernizing the bulk operations interface — here's what's new and what moved

As part of the change, the get-started guide is no longer linked from the console, though the page itself remains online. Yesterday I logged into Seller Central, navigated to the Bulk Operations page in the advertising console, and noticed that the link to Amazon's bulk sheet getting-started guide was gone. The page used to have a "Get started with bulksheets" link next to the template download — pointing to advertising.amazon.com/API/docs/en-us/no-code-tools/bulksheets/2-0/get-started-with-bulksheets-part1, which walks through how to complete a bulk sheet. That destination page still exists; you can navigate to it directly if you know the URL. But the link from the bulk operations interface itself is gone. The on-ramp from "I'm looking at this template" to "here's how to fill it out" has been removed.

A short check of major Amazon advertising newsletters and podcasts I follow — plus a Google search across the web — surfaced no documentation of this change. As far as I can tell, Amazon hasn't announced it. The rollout appears to be gradual across accounts: this kind of change typically reaches different accounts at different times, so some readers may still see the help link on their console; others, like me, won't.

This is part of a bigger interface transition

The help link removal isn't an isolated change. Amazon has been migrating the bulk operations interface from a legacy version to a new version. The legacy page is now read-only:

What's changing is the shape of the in-product guidance. Those are still there and still useful. For most quick "what does this column expect" questions, the in-template help is enough.
